1. Moses was on the mountain for forty days receiving God's Covenant for God's people. Why did the Israelites turn back so quickly to their former idols?

2. What are some of our "former" idols?

3. How do these idols still get in the way of our knowing and doing what God calls us to do?

4. What could the Israelites have done (and what can we do) to remain faithful to the God who had led them out of bondage and into the promised land?
